Dissapointed with it so I'm not surprised that it didnt end up on the big screen.
*Spoiler at the end*
I know that they were trying to portray the Walt Disney classic into a 21st century dimension but it just wouldnt work. Her step mother/guardian asks her to do absolutely nonsense chores
and confiscates her phone when she fowls up.
Teenagers then might've done it but definitely not in the 21st century or the 20th for that matter.
There was dancing but it wasn't anything to wow about.
Only the first dance at the masquerade party was nice then rest was it was just blahh..
And back to the step mother/guardian...
her attitude wa so freaking annoying.
I actually felt like throwing something at the tv.
The huge disapointment was that nothing bad happened to her in the end except that she injured both her legs
As we all know Selena Gomez from Wizards of Waverly Place where she acts as a rebellious girl who disobeys her parents and breaks all rules.
So watching Another Cinderella Story where she's obedient and quiet took quite a while to adjust to.
HOWEVER,
I also did get to watch Bridge to Terabithia which I was surprised didn't end up on the big screen.
The graphic and acting was great but maybe its cause it too short or it was a kid's movie.
Some part of the movei didnt make sense but I loved the ending cause it was such a great and unexpected twist.
Usually kids movie would end in a happily ever after state.
I watched it the first time and I cried at the ending cause Leslie(the girl) died in the end and they were showing the process of the boy's unwilling to accept and hurt for the loss of his best friend. I watched it the second time and I still cried. I tried holding it in but I literally choked. LOL
That was how good the acting was! Macho guys might not like it so yea
