scam??

i woke up at around 1.30 today
after taking me shower i just resumed studying then my phone's vibration went off

i thought it was just MS giving me a miss call but it was so long so i checked my phone's caller ID it was a house phone calling

I was reluctant to answer it cause it might be my past tuition teacher calling me to pay the extra $67 of tuition fees (i know.like wtf right??) lol. but I did in the end.

I waited for the person to speak first but he/she didnt.
After waiting about 5 seconds, I said the first hello.
(this is how we answer annonymous phone calls - taught by my dad)

This guy with a French accent asked if I was 'Maybelline'. It was a bit odd cause if do sign up for something it would be with my other name
(initially I thought it was an indian man - my tuition teacher)

then he said that he was calling from the Luxembourg cookie factory and that he was offering a job opportunity to the

most outstanding and brilliant student in Brunei

(chyea right.me getting 5As for my o levels is enough to make me faint) but being the blurr shyt state that i was in, I just said

"you must have the wrong number"

this guy then asked me again if I was Maybelline. I agreed then I asked

what kind of job was he offering

He said something about advertising (i can't freaking understand the accent) and he called me to consider it carefully cause it was a

25 year contract

and once i signed it I cant get out of it.

This person just went on and on about the 'most oustanding and brilliant student in brunei'.

He kept saying hold on and there was once I heard laughing.
Now I knew it was some prankster but I wanted to know who, maybe it was one of my friends.

I asked this person who was addressing me as 'Maybelline' to tell me my full name.
He told me to hold on for 2 minutes and he passed the phone to some ang mo guy to talk to me.

I remember his first sentence was

"I'm sorry,Maybelline. He's an idiot. I'm really sorry"

and he went on saying that this is an

incredible opportunity

cause it is only offered to the most outstanding and brilliant student brunei with some British accent.

I shot a question back at him

"Where did you get this info from?"

He said

"I got it from your school."

I said,

"And what IS my school?"

*click*
he hung up!!

LOL

This has certainly made my day interesting.
The call lasted for 3 mins and 43 seconds.lol.

And if anyone dares to call this number, 2262530 , please do tell me how the convo went xD
