personalize your coats

Vintage Chic
Sometimes less is more.
Take your coat back to a glamorous time by simply
shortening your coat's sleeves to three-quarters length
(cutting just below the elbows)
Pair with long vintage-inspired gloves
and a rhinestone brooch to complete your vintage look
tip : big sunglasses

Warm and Fuzzy

Think mink! (Faux(fake), of course.)

Remove the fur from an old coat or buy new faux fur from the fabric store.

Measure and cut the fur to fit the collar and cuffs of your coat.

Sew or glue fur, and voila!

Your old coat is instantly more glamorous and warmer.

Faux Silkscreen Style
Turn your mass- produced coat into a work of art with a silkscreen-style image.
Print out a high contrast image and transfer it to your coat
using the grid drawing method and washable chalk.
Then fill in the image with fabric paint.

Rock the Coat
Take your coat from prim and proper to offbeat and hip with band pins.
Attach a ton of them to create a graphic texture that shows off your unique taste in music.
Coordinate the pin's colour with your coat and it'll look like they're meant to be together, kind of like your favorite band...

Retro Splash

Give your old coat an outrageous 80's retro look with splashes of fabric paint.

Use multiple contrasting colors for a highly graphic look,

or muted colors for a subtle textured look.

to your collar or anywhere u like to make your coat sparkle.

In Stitches

You don't have to be a tailor to create

a simple running stitch with a needle and embroidery thread.

First, sketch your design on your coat with washable chalk.

Then stitch on your one-of-a-kind embroidered design. ______________________________________________________________
