i never understood the concept of 'hutang'.

You're old and the thing is worthless but you're still paying for it.wth?

Why can't you just save the money for something and just pay it all at once.

Advantages of doing so:

1. You can call it your own
2. You can sell it when you're in dire need of money
3. You don't have to worry about losing it when you declare bankruptcy.
4. You don't have to pay extra in intrests

So WHY WHY WHY do people like to buy things that they can't afford.

I know that life is 'short' but thats not the way to live.

You just made it long by causing financial problems to you and your family

and eventually causing tension and stress among each other.

Here's another typical example.

After getting salary,

pumping $20's worth petrol into the car.

2nd week after getting salary,

pumping $10's worth petrol into the car

nearing the end of the month,

pumping $3-$5's worth of petrol into the car

Get mad all you want but you can't deny the fact of what I just said
