Kimchi

Sorry for the reli slow update
I haven't been feeling well for the past week
well anyway, after sending har off at the airport
me and parents went to this new korean restaurant, Kimchi
its like somewhere reli secluded in Kiulap =/
-
There was a Ramahdan special
All-You-Can-Eat BBQ for $19.80 per person
so like you can keep asking for add ons
BIG plus for big eaters xD
but still quite expensive la considering Brunei
But the food was superb..

This is what Kimchi actually looks like for those who don't know

fermented cabbage

its either you love it or you don't

-

First they bring out a variety of appetizers..
salted fish, sweet potatoes, pickled vegetables, etc
-
Korean pancake
-
L-platter of mussels, oysters, squid and prawns
complaint: the seafood wasn't fresh
R- platter of marinated chickens, beef and lamb
the meat was great. juicy and tender
tip: the longer you cook the meat, the harder they become
-
and also a platter of vegetables
sweet corn, pumpkin, sweet potato, golden mushrooms, onions
-
And there's a barbecue grill in the middle of the table
-
-
-drool, people =p
-
you can order again provided that you finish your food
we ordered twice of everything.lol.
-
For desert, me and my dad had Patbingsu which is like ABC
sweet potato, red bead, coconut jelly, vanilla ice cream, cornflakes
as weird as the combination sounds, it works
-
And my mum had Green tea ice cream
biggest dissapointment was that it wasn't creamy
it was like shaved iced and the middle was hard
it also wasnt sweet. tasted like green tea POWDER
