Greenpeace ads

Greenpeace has aged the faces of current world leaders of how they might look like in 2020 with an apology, in conjunction with the U.N. Climate Change Conference in Denmark,
-
-

French President
Nicolas Sarkozy
-

America President
Barack Obama
Barack Obama is only 48 now. Is he really gonna look like that at 59??
That looks like a guy in his mid-70s

-

German Chancellor
Angela Merkel
-
I think Greenpeace's purpose was to try to stir up 'controversy' so that people would take notice. But I found it sorta unfair by targetting. You can't STOP global warming. I still think that its arguable that nature would have caused it, just that we accelerated its pace.
-
At least these people SIGNED the Kyoto Protocol.
The ones who turned it down was ex-president, George Bush.
Was it signed yet by Barack Obama? dunno, too lazy to check
lol.
The problem is with the people who aren't willing to change.
I doubt that its not that these leaders did not try.
Its the citizens who would be enraged and overthrow them.
So why go through so much trouble by trying and not getting any results?
If majority were in their position, I think everyone would have given up trying to stop global warming and focused more on keeping their elected position..

I now pronounce you..

..husband a video wife.
-
yep, you read right.
A man by the name 'Sal9000' in Japan has decided to marry his virtual girlfriend, Nene Anegasaki from a game called Love Plus played on his Nintendo DS. Talk about desperate.
-
They have even held a small reception inviting their friends, family and even the media.
Publicity stunt? maybe..

wohoo! 20/11

After so long, she has finally decided to call it quits for
"The Oprah Winfrey Show".
-
I'm not super sad and I'm not saying that I'm not a fan of her or a big one either.
It was inevitable cause recently when I watched her more recent shows, she sometimes looked...BORED!
-
But it is sad to see her go. I was quite furious last time when she was bumped of from Star Worlds onto Hallmark channel and replaced with Ellen Degeneres.
-
Oprah Winfrey's shows are far more interesting that any other show.
-
WARNING!!
I'm gonna talk bad about some other talkshows now so if you don't wanna read it.
Click 'Alt + F4'
now
-
Ellen Degeneres donates money and things to really random people. and all she does on talkshows are 'interviews' with celebrities and talk about some weird stuff that happened on the web that everyone already knows about AND dances horribly before and after the show.
-
Jimmy Kimmel and David Letterman also do nothing but interview celebrities and pull out some rubbish that doesn't even make sense or even funny. They remind me of a really old Nickelodeon show called 'All That' that does extremely stupid nonsense and call it comedy or funny. Maybe thats American humour.
I never found falling down or getting hit in the head funny.
-
Okay, other than that..
MY EXAMS ARE FINALLY OVER!!!
breathing that sigh of relief now.
I need to go out. I need to catch up on movies.
-
Pictures are self explanatory

I know, sad right~?
haven't watched so many BLOCKCUSTER movies cause there was always something going on when they had the puting to watch it or like half of them watch it already and either they say not worth it or we just never got the chance to meet up again due to exam or schedule clashes.

-
Recently got hooked to this really old song that I heard being played twice on the radio in memory of the rapper who was featured in this song who died in a car accident recently.

Never Be The Same Again - Melanie C
-
-
This is what we(PRS) have been singing the whole morning today for the Teacher's Day Celebration. Belated, I know.

you Raise Me Up - Westlife
-

Kau Ilhamku - Man Bai
I thought that the lyrics for this song is really meaningful and sweet but tune and voice of it was flat out horrible!
-
-
The thing I'm looking forward to now is
SINGAPORE!!!
Following the watch on the right side of this page,
it tells me that I have roughly a month left.
-
J.Co Donut, Burger King, Popia, PORK!!!!
*drools~*
-
Of course not only that la. I'm going there with my friends and I have friends who are studying there like Lena, Augustine
Plus Abdullah and Ling who are going there for holiday too.
-
there's also BOXING DAY!!!
SALES! SALES! SALES!

no more tuition (2)

just read today's newspaper.
Not only have they banned teacher's from giving tuition in their residence,
they are also banning teachers from going to students' houses to give tuitions
this is just too extreme and getting out of hand.
Teaching without accepting money is wrong too.
-
apparently, some 'lazy' teachers got jealous about other teachers giving private tuitions, earning extra money and reported them.
the ministry thought that banning all private tuitions is a way to stop complaints.
I mean c'mon..
Thats just plain lazy on your part and not even able to endure some tough time.
Just ignore the damn haters who complained.
-
Why don't you ban all fixtures of sound systems into cars
since many people complain about youngsters blasting their speakers on full volume.
Why don't you ban smoking since it causes health problems.
Why don't you just ban everything since everyone has a problem with everything?
