SUNDAY is SPA-DAY

Sundays are the only days I can truly relax
Staying from school from 7.30am to 2pm and someBoldtimes up to 4pm in this heat
WHILE wearing a tudung can really take a toll on the skin.


You can shower after or before the facial, its up to you. Brush your nails while you're at it =p

Dry your hair at medium heat with a hair dryer and apply hair moisturisers if they're dry.

Here's a tip for some kissable lip:

Use your toothbrush and lightly brush your lips in circular motion to remove dead skin then use good ol' lip balm xD

And now for the facial..

  • Use a hair band to keep your hair away from your face.

  • Take your everyday facial cleaser and wash you face PROPERLY (i know most of you just briskly rub it on ur faces for a few seconds then wash it off)

  • Fill a bowl (about the size of your head) with hot steaming water. Put your face over the bowl and use a towel to cover your head for 2 minutes.It helps to open up your pores. Then take a clean towel and dry your face GENTLY.

  • Use a peeling gel or an exfoliating scrub to remove dead skin cells by rubbing in circular motions for about a minute. Rinse well and blot gently to dry with a towel.

  • Remove your blackhead by using store bought black head remover stickers or do it the painful manual way with squeezing.

  • Apply your mask. There is the bottled cream mask or those cloth type masks. But be sure to rinse off properly if you're using the cream ones. Use a facial sponge though as if isn't as rough as a towel.

  • After that, use moistriser because your skin can get pretty dry after a facial.

  • Applying lotion after everything is up to you but its good to apply some on your elbows and the heels of your feet.

This is based on whole-wheat flour as it is rich in vitamin E which helps promote cell regrowth (found in anti-aging creams) and stimulate the production of anti inflammotary compounds (found in sun blocks).

IngedientsBold:

3 tablespoons of milk

2 tablespoons of rose water

2 tablespoons of honey.

4 tablespoons of whole-wheat flour

Heat the milk, rose water and honey.

Remove from the heat and whisk in the flour.

Allow it to cool and apply it to your face and neck for 15 minutes.

If you need a simple mask to refresh your skin from the intense heat, try this.

This mask will heal sunburns, lightens complexion and definitely leave you feeling refreshed as these ingredients have high water content and antioxidants.
-

Ingredients:

1 cup of watermelon pulp, chilled

1 cup of cucumber pulp, chilled

-

Mix in the ingredients together and apply the mask.

Leave for 20 minutes and rinse.

Note: Please do not do facials at LEAST 4 days before an event or you'll look like a lobster cause facial removes old and dead skin.
