When i arrived at China, the first thing I noticed was all the dead trees

I was thinking to myself,
"Oh my god! is this what pollution does??!!"

Then i smacked myself realizing that its winter

look at all the dead trees

and when i walked into the hotel,

I saw a small little hut made of cookies

at first I thought it was just styrofoam

-

then i had closer look

It was real cookies!!

They used icing sugar as paste!!

I also met a number of new people,
The Yongs

the one in blue is ah fa

brown is ah chay

then one in pink ear muffs is sze wei

there are others but i don't have pictures with them

its in their cam

We all went to see the newest attraction at Beijing

the Bird's Nest

but we're not allowed to go in

me and ah chay

and I also got to see the Water Cube

xiao lei(our tour guide) and me

we have matching gloves!!! =p

The Great Wall Of China

I climbed till half way up and I was too freaking scared to continue

scared of heights wa!!!

plus i was wearing high heel boots

I was even lame enough to get meyself a pair of panda mittens

they're so cozy

and i got to feed a deer some big tang hu lu

they'll nod at you

anyway~

I arrived in Tibet for a short moment too

but i needed to climb this many stairs to get to the top

and just when i thought that was all the stairs,

Since I was on tour,
we were forced to see A LOT of things

some that were interesting,

and some not so..

one of them was to see the manufacture of one of China's best product

SILK

There was even Sultan's picture there

We also went to the

jade shop

and

the pearl shop

well they sell alot of pearl based goods

such as powders and lotions and etc

My favouritest part of winter

frozen ponds and rivers

But there was one particular river

that will never freeze

its says Re He

which directly translates as Hot River

-

we even went to tombstones

however no bones la

the person who excavated them burnt them

=S

The rest was pretty basic

Visiting the places where royalties used to live

This crown is called

nine-dragon and nine-phoenix crown

but i didn't bother counting if there were really that many

The crown in worn during

appointment of the empress, paying homage at temples and attending temple affairs

I just know that there are 99 childen and 2 complete dragons on the robe

however this is just the replica

the original has been destroyed because of lack of care

I remember as a kid,

the first time I heard that there was actually

a male and female to the lion sculptures

I was shocked cause they looked the same to me

till i found out that

the male will always hold a ball

while the female holds a cub

I saw this weird looking stone that sorta reminded me on Kiko from Neopets

we had a treat of watching Chinese acrobats

and also the Shao Lin Shi

if I was a guy and lived in China,

I would have already gone and join them

they're real monks and they fight!!

probably the only monks in the world who can fight

I also had a brief moment of snow

no pun intended

i look pissed is cause i gained 4kgs

my face looks so freakishly chubby

Rickshaw!!!

20 yen per person

i mean to ride the rickshaw la

it cost 20 yen for one person to ride the rickshaw

and i can't believe that there's a complaint tel

what in the world is there to complain about a rickshaw??

I got a chance to savour China's

Mc Donald's

instead of apple pie,

they have peach pie

and instead of ordinary, plain old coke,

they serve coca-cola zero

and their burger special is Curry Chicken burger with sweet mustard

Now THIS is

Bing Tang Hu Lu

Its asam fruit covered in honey then frozen

to make a sweet and sour treat

-

We had beer at every meal but this is something special

a drink with 56% alcohol

and its sold at only 5 yen

which is equivalent to about BN$1

-

and I even had some

scorpions
