i viewed manda's blog a while ago

it wasn't touching or anything but she's studying culinary arts in Australia and I really really wanna go to Le Cordon Bleu!!!!!! T.T
If i was to apply for a scholarship to go there, I know my parents would kill me.

They disapprove because its a hard job and you have to work from the bottom.
Like duhh you have to work from the bottom.

You study as a doctor you have to study for 7 freaking years just to be able to finally get a god damn certificate and you might even be the worst or careless doctor in the world. They might even strip you of your liscense. And if you are the world/country's best then you can earn lots of money.

Being a chef, you graduate early and you get to start working earlier and its practically the same as wanting to be a doctor just that you actually get at least some money insted of paying thousands. And with enough skills and love for food you might even be the highest paid chef in the world. If not, then at least ur doing something you love

This is how i view it.

Being a chef :

1. You get to cook and taste till you find your dish is perfect.
2. You get to enjoy the food you eat
3. You get to make a business out of it by openign your own restaurant
4. You can to earn money doing what you love

Being a doctor :

1. You have to wake up in the middle in the night for emergencies
2. Your spouse might leave you because you're rarely home unless you both work i nthe same hospital.
3. You have to see lots and lots of bloods and stay awake and stand for hours and if the patient dies, you gotta face the consequences
4. You get to have all the cash you want but going on a vacation means leaving your PATIENTS who may or may not die.

I don't freaking care if I throw my life away cause this is what I wanna do. So what if I'm in a science class. Doesn't mean that anything in the books appeal to me. I'll be throwing 4 years of my life studying something I dont wanna do.

But as you all know. The earth revolves around money. Especially asian people(I'm asian too so its not racism right??)
