Highlights

I did some online searching for highlights.
I saw 2 that I really liked.
-

-

I still like this the best
-
I consulted the hairstylist and she said that I would have to bleach for that
but my mum don't let cause will spoil my hair.
I don't see the difference anyway =.=''
Plus its a look suited for westerners.
-
The lady showed me picture of Asians
who bleached their hair and they look so wannabe.
-
In the end I got copper red and bright orange

I'm quite pleased with the results even though it looks like
i dyed my whole hair red and highlighted it with orange.
And I didn't expect it to be so fucking expensive!!
$120 for highlight and $22 for a simple trim.
-
Honestly, I wasn't even listening when she made sure of the colour I wanted.
I just "ah~" only and she went to mix the 'batter'.lol.
but hey, at least it didnt turn out horrible.
The guy said I looked like a Jap after that.
-
It turns out that if you never 'dye your hair',
it is said that you have 'virgin hair'
(that was how the person described it cause it took longer than usual for the colour to set it)
so therefore, when you do decide to do it
its harder for the colours to 'penetrate'
(the person said absorb but i tweaked the word xD)
lmao.rofl.
-
-
Went out to Senja for dinner after that.
Service was really horrible
-
I ordered Traditional Garlic and Herbed Topped Steak
costing at $22/=

Looks yummy but wait...

Man! Talk about skimpy proportions aside from the carrots!!
It used to be HUGE! Like HALF the plate.
Really disappointed with the quality of the restaurant since I last came.
Even the butter spread for the bread appetizer was like frozen solid!!

Up

When I first saw this poster and trailer, the first thing that hit me was Wizard of Oz cause of the flying house and the little boy with a colourful bird.lol.
-
i like how the story started and in addition to all the twist and turns like the talking dog and the evil dog. the story was brought in smoothly without sudden abruption of a character coming in and making you wonder who the hell is that.
-
As with all Disney movies, all endings have a happy ending with a moral.
-
Its a good animation no doubt

I now pronounce you..

..husband a video wife.
-
yep, you read right.
A man by the name 'Sal9000' in Japan has decided to marry his virtual girlfriend, Nene Anegasaki from a game called Love Plus played on his Nintendo DS. Talk about desperate.
-
They have even held a small reception inviting their friends, family and even the media.
Publicity stunt? maybe..

When you smile, the whole world smiles with you

I'm suppose to be in school today for the ECA awards event but some stuff happened and I'm just too depressed to sing on stage eventhough 'You Raise Me Up' is already a depressing song. I am also ashamed to even see my peers cause I know that they will mock me for getting upset over such a little thing.
-
I'd rather stay at home to read comics and watch cartoons to make me forget and return to school in time for the Carnival acting as if nothing happened.
-
I'm sorry for letting whoever down but I'm just one person. You could easily fill my space with someone else and besides, I know that there were too many girls so I helped the problem. Its a win-win situtation =)

Most and least reliable laptops

1 in 3 laptops die in the first 3 years
-
20.4% of failures are due to hardware malfunctions.
10.6% are due to drops, spills, or other accidental damage.
-
Most reliable brands:
Toshiba and Asus, both with below a 16% failure rate due to hardware malfunction.
-
Least reliable brands:
Acer, Gateway, and HP.
HP's hardware malfunction rate, the worst in SquareTrade's analysis, is a whopping 25.6%.
-
HP??!!
I own a HP!!!!

hectic week

Today we received news on whether we would be promoting to upper six and someone told me that 20% of them retained.
But most were given probations. stop skipping class wa, people =.=''
-
During lunch we had some audition/screen test for the teacher's day celebration.
What struck me as weird was that teachers were present cause these things are usually kept hush hush from teachers until the day itself.
No surprise that we sang horribly was cause we didn't have enough practice and we weren't ready.
But Cikgu Aryati defended us and we got in.woohoo! xD
Of course we're gonna improve.just you wait and see.
-
In the afternoon we had a dialogue with the principal.
We spoke out about the things in our school that requires improvement ranging with the facilities to the acedemic.
A person said that she heard rumours that our school wasn't actually meant to be a sixth form centre or even capable of holding the 2,000 students here.
Now that I think about it, it makes sense, cause majority of our facilities are way too small like the multipurpose hall, assembly area, library and canteen.
Some people brought up some other silly complaints but oh well~
-
then we had slightly less than an hour to rehearse and tune our singing.
-
When I got into the car, kena nagged by my aunts abt ridiculous things.
like 'why so late' and 'its dangerous cause its a new building' and 'its wrong to stay back past working hours of teachers'.
NO SURPRISE THERE!
never sitting in their car again.its always the same story.
-
Tomoro got rehearsal again and we have to be ready by Wednesday and we also have to prep the stuff for the Carinival on Thursday. fuhhh~

2012

just got back from the Qlap Mall's cinema.

I sat in a chair for 2 and a half hours and I wasn't happy with the way the movie turned out AT ALL.

-

It was so over exagerated!!

The story line was horrible because the amount of 'luck' played out for the STAR of the movie was too much but to be honest, the graphics and special effects were awesome.

It makes sense that the sun will get so close to earth that the core heats up and blablabla but wiped out by a tsunami?? c'mon~ it was said in Revolutions of the Bible that the earth would be wiped out with fire.

-

America, China and Russia each have THOUSANDS of nuclear bombs. if the place where they were kept experienced earthquake, the whole world would be destroyed by them in a chain reaction. NOT TSUNAMIS. and how was it possible to built 3 of noah's ark in what was suppose to take 4 years into 2. ITS IMPOSSIBLE! there's no logic.

-

In 2012 there shouldn't be A HAPPY ENDING!!

its suppose to make you realize that the world is ending and NO ONE can save you.

Whats sad is that you need to be the ones who were helping to build the 'ark' or 1 billion euros to survive and they are usually people who get that by horrible means. Thus, you can go to church everyday and donate your money to the poor but you'll still be damned by getting burned, drowned or falling to your death when the earth splits into two.

-

they made the stories so fanciful instead of making you fear. There's absolutely no reality in the movie. Thumbs down big time.

snake

I was watching tv and my maid suddenly told me that there was a snake in the toilet.
I went up to take a look and there seriously was one.
It's brown and small but green on the underneath. It moves really quick in an S-shape.
I think it may be a water snake cause of its movement pattern and also its able to raise its head like a cobra.
I quickly closed the shower's sliding door but it got wedged halfway.
I opened it a little bit and it slithered back into the shower.
-
I checked on it a few minutes later and it suddenly went into the corner of the sliding door.
Its tail got shorter and shorter and it suddenly just disappeared!!!
I thought that maybe it was in the side of the door so I just kept it close.
-
My dad came back home and when he opened it, the snake was no where to be found.
Now I'm worried that the snake could be anywhere in the house.
What if its in my bedroom. I might be sleeping then I heard this 'ssssss' sound and open my eyes to see that its in front of me O.o!!!!
I'm even afraid to go pee now. What it was in the toilet bowl??!!
-
I know my hamsters are what attracted it into the house. Keeping them on high grounds now. Hoping for the best =/

wohoo! 20/11

After so long, she has finally decided to call it quits for
"The Oprah Winfrey Show".
-
I'm not super sad and I'm not saying that I'm not a fan of her or a big one either.
It was inevitable cause recently when I watched her more recent shows, she sometimes looked...BORED!
-
But it is sad to see her go. I was quite furious last time when she was bumped of from Star Worlds onto Hallmark channel and replaced with Ellen Degeneres.
-
Oprah Winfrey's shows are far more interesting that any other show.
-
WARNING!!
I'm gonna talk bad about some other talkshows now so if you don't wanna read it.
Click 'Alt + F4'
now
-
Ellen Degeneres donates money and things to really random people. and all she does on talkshows are 'interviews' with celebrities and talk about some weird stuff that happened on the web that everyone already knows about AND dances horribly before and after the show.
-
Jimmy Kimmel and David Letterman also do nothing but interview celebrities and pull out some rubbish that doesn't even make sense or even funny. They remind me of a really old Nickelodeon show called 'All That' that does extremely stupid nonsense and call it comedy or funny. Maybe thats American humour.
I never found falling down or getting hit in the head funny.
-
Okay, other than that..
MY EXAMS ARE FINALLY OVER!!!
breathing that sigh of relief now.
I need to go out. I need to catch up on movies.
-
Pictures are self explanatory
-

-

-

-

-

-

*couldn't find the large size*
**-

-
I know, sad right~?
haven't watched so many BLOCKCUSTER movies cause there was always something going on when they had the puting to watch it or like half of them watch it already and either they say not worth it or we just never got the chance to meet up again due to exam or schedule clashes.
-
-
Recently got hooked to this really old song that I heard being played twice on the radio in memory of the rapper who was featured in this song who died in a car accident recently.

Never Be The Same Again - Melanie C
-
-
This is what we(PRS) have been singing the whole morning today for the Teacher's Day Celebration. Belated, I know.

you Raise Me Up - Westlife
-

Kau Ilhamku - Man Bai
I thought that the lyrics for this song is really meaningful and sweet but tune and voice of it was flat out horrible!
-
-
The thing I'm looking forward to now is
SINGAPORE!!!
Following the watch on the right side of this page,
it tells me that I have roughly a month left.
-
J.Co Donut, Burger King, Popia, PORK!!!!
*drools~*
-
Of course not only that la. I'm going there with my friends and I have friends who are studying there like Lena, Augustine
Plus Abdullah and Ling who are going there for holiday too.
-
there's also BOXING DAY!!!
SALES! SALES! SALES!
wakakaka
-
and last but not least, independence for a week =D

Spanish lesson

A SPANISH Teacher was explaining to her class that in Spanish, unlike English, nouns are designated as either masculine or feminine.

'House' for instance, is feminine: 'la casa.'

'Pencil,' however, is masculine: 'el lapiz.'

A student asked, 'What gender is 'computer'?'

Instead of giving the answer, the teacher split the class into two
groups, male and female, and asked them to decide for themselves
whether computer should be a masculine or a feminine noun.

Each group was asked to give four reasons for its recommendation.

The men's group decided that 'computer' should definitely be of the
feminine gender ('la computadora'), because:

1. No one but their creator understands their internal logic;

2. The native language they use to communicate with other computers is incomprehensible to everyone else;

3. Even the smallest mistakes are stored in long term memory for
possible later retrieval;

And...

4. As soon as you make a commitment to one, you find yourself
spending half your paycheck on accessories for it.

(THIS GETS BETTER!)

The women's group, however, concluded that computers should be
Masculine ('el computador'), because:

1. In order to do anything with them, you have to turn them on;

2. They have a lot of data but still can't think for themselves;

3. They are supposed to help you solve problems, but half the time they ARE the problem; and

4. As soon as you commit to one, you realize that if you had waited a little longer, you could have gotten a better model.

The women won.
